UFC on FOX 17: Dos Anjos vs. Cerrone

UFC on FOX 17: Dos Anjos vs. Cerrone

We have ANOTHER great card this weekend, just a week after UFC 194. This isn’t one that you’ll want to skip, either.

At the top, we have a lightweight title fight between 155 lb. champion Rafael dos Anjos and Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone. In the co-main, we have Junior Dos Santos vs. Alistair Overeem, preceded by Nate Diaz vs. Michael Johnson, and Karolina Kowalkiewicz vs. Randa Markos rounds out the main card. Even the prelims are good, with Myles Jury vs. Charles Oliveira, C.B. Dollaway vs. Nate Marquardt, Sarah Kaufman vs. Valentina Shevchenko, Tamdan McCrory vs. Josh Samman, Danny Castillo vs. Nik Lentz, and Jim Alers vs. Cole Miller.

This is an early card, starting this Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 3:30 PM ET with the Fight Pass prelims, followed by the televised preliminary fights at 5:00 PM ET, and the event concludes with the main card which begins at 8:00 PM ET.

If you’re like me and you’re a cable cutter who doesn’t have access to a cable or satellite subscription but you DO have a Fight Pass account, you don’t have to miss this event due to the UFC’s blackouts because of television deals. Using Unlocator, you can spoof your location to make it look like you’re in a part of the world where the blackouts don’t apply. This will change the expected “Blacked Out” message in your Fight Pass account to one that lets you watch all the fights.

Unlocator is available for a seven-day free trial if you’ve never used it before, but I’d suggest a month-to-month, six-month, or year-long subscription. Personally, I’ve subscribed for a year and I can highly recommended the service to other cable-cutting UFC fans and Fight Pass subscribers. It works on many different devices, game consoles, and routers, and Unlocator can be configured easily within minutes.

Another service I subscribe to and can recommend is DraftKings! You know what it is. Enter the UFC on Fox 17 MMA $60K Haymaker contest, pick who you think will win along with how/when they will win, and rack up points. The more points you win, the more money you win. $60,000 is up for grabs and it’s only $3 to enter the contest. If you’ve never used DraftKings before, you can have the $3 entry fee waived and enter the MMA $60K Haymaker for free with my special link! Try it out, I think you’ll really like it. Having the chance to win some serious money really makes the fights a lot more fun and exciting to watch since you have something invested in it.

As always, enjoy the fights!
