There’s a surprisingly good free UFC event this weekend, headlined by Thomas Almeida vs. Cody Garbrandt with Renan Barao vs. Jeremy Stephens in the co-main event. Tarec Saffiedine vs. Rick Story, Lorenz Larkin vs. Jorge Masvidal, Josh Burkman vs. Paul Felder, Jessica Eye vs. Sara McMann, Jordan Rinaldi vs. Abel Trujillo, and Bryan Caraway vs. Aljamain Sterling make up a handful of the prelim fights.
The fights are actually tomorrow night on Sunday, May 29, 2016 rather than a typical Saturday night. However, things kick off at roughly the usual time with two UFC Fight Pass preliminary fights starting off the night at 6 PM ET, followed by four televised prelim fights at 7 PM ET, and the main card begins at 9 PM ET with six fights.
If you’re a cable cutter and want to watch tonight’s action, I encourage you to sign up with Unlocator. There’s a seven-day free trial available and it will let you live stream both the televised prelims and main card through your Fight Pass account. Typically this content would be blacked out, but Unlocator makes it appear as if you’re in a country where the UFC blackouts don’t apply, allowing you to live stream ALL televised live UFC content through your existing Fight Pass subscription. I’m a longtime Unlocator subscriber and highly recommend the service.
Brendan Schaub has stated on the latest episode of The Fighter and the Kid podcast that there will be a UFC Fight Night 88 fight companion podcast with Joe Rogan, Bryan Callen, and Eddie Bravo as well. You can follow along with the guys live by loading up joerogan.live on your phone, tablet, or computer when the main card begins at 9 PM ET.
